Montco Fence 6 Step Process

Residential and Commercial Fence Installation Process

Step 1 Schedule Meeting & Receive Quote

Please call or e-mail us and we will promptly be in contact with you to schedule an onsite meeting at your home or job location. Once there, we will make suggestions based on your needs, provide you with brochures, go over styles & measurements and answer your questions. Your estimate will be provided on site or if it requires additional information, we will email it to you the next day.

Step 2 Deposit & Schedule Job

If you decide you want to get this project scheduled, please call one of our office representatives who will be happy to review the details of the proposed work with you. Also at this time, we will require a 20% deposit (we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Checks). Your installation date will then be provided based on the lead-time of your materials and schedule availability. Any changes to your project after this time period could possibly delay your installation.

Step 3 Signing Documents

Once Step 2 is completed, we will send you a Typed Invoice and a Customer Responsibility Sheet for your approval and signatures. The invoice will outline all the details of the materials and work to be performed. It is very important that you review these two documents, sign them, make a copy for yourself, and return the signed documents promptly. Any changes to your project after this time period, will delay your installation and/or incur restocking fees. These signed documents are required prior to installation.

Step 4 Preparation

While waiting for your job to be installed, please take care of any applicable items on your Customer Responsibility Sheet and we will take care of the PA One Call and material ordering. We will do our best to notify you of any unforeseen material delays. Please notify us of any delays you may have.

Step 5 Arrival of your Installation Day

When we arrive, the foreman will meet with you to go over the fence line and retrieve your approval. At this time, you need to show us any private underground lines. We would also appreciate if you could please provide access to water and electric. Please be aware that our construction will make some noise. We will have trucks, trailers, digging equipment for the post holes, power saws and nail guns. We will try to keep this to a minimum as much as possible.

Step 6 Completion of Your Installation

Upon completion of your job, please be home so that you can walk the job and make sure it is to your complete satisfaction. If there is any issue, please address with the foreman at this time. You can pay the final balance to your foreman or if you wish to pay by credit card, you may call our office. We ask that you do not use your gates for 72 hours to allow the concrete to settle.

Montco Fence was great, I had fielded a couple of quotes from the area, and though they may not have been the cheapest, they worked with me on what I wanted and needed with some great recommendations. I was given multiple options of different styles from my guy Jim at Montco Fence as well, he was great to work with. The team that came in was great, respectful, timely and got everything done in about a day and 1/2. I think they hit some unexpected shale/rocks that took a little extra time. Everyone at HQ, over the phone, was helpful as well with questions and getting the billing set up. I'm very glad that, for an investment like this, I went with Montco Fence.
